Removing and installing mirror on left or right
front door
Remove door trim panel,
refer to 51 41 000
Cut through cable connector, remove connector (1) from window
regulator module and remove connector (2) (finger-jam
protection).
Installation:
Note cable routing.
Route mirror wire (1) under finger-jam protection wire (2) in recess
in door trim (3).
Raise finisher (1) (finger-jam protection) slightly and unfasten
screws. Press inner (2) and outer (3) gasket to one side and
unfasten screw. Pull mirror wire and grommet (4) right out and
remove mirror (5).
Installation:
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 51 16 1AZ
Carry out operational check.
