Replacing all valve stem seals (M73)
(cylinder head removed)
Preliminary work is described and Disassembling and
assembling cylinder head,
refer to 11 12 503
Remove all valve springs,
refer to 11 34 715
Remove valve stem seal with special tool 11 1 480.
Lubricate valve stem with oil and insert valve.
Fit special tool 11 1 380.
Coat new valve stem seal (1) with oil and install.
Press-fit valve stem seal firmly home by hand using special tool
11 1 200.
