Removing and installing, sealing or replacing
main-flow oil filter (M73)
Unfasten oil filter cover to enable oil to flow out of full-flow filter
housing and back into the oil pan.
This operation is described in section on BMW engine oil service,
refer to 00 00 249
Disconnect plug connection on oil pressure switch.
Unfasten bracket on oil lines.
Remove oil lines from main flow oil filter housing.
Installation:
Replace sealing rings.
Unfasten main flow oil filter housing from bracket.
