Replacing right knock sensors (cylinder bank
1-6)(M73)
Remove intake air manifold for cylinder bank 1-6,
refer to 11 61 046
Switch off ignition.
Caution!
Confusing the plug connections of knock sensors gives rise to
engine damage. Line routing and plug connections must
match original routing to prevent any possible confusion.
Connector allocation on cable duct for engine wiring harness,
refer to 12 51 001
Knock sensor 1 for cylinders 1 to 3.
Unfasten screw.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 12 14 2AZ
Knock sensor 2 for cylinders 3 to 6.
Unfasten screw.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 12 14 2AZ
