7 Series E38 750iL (M73) SAL
Unfasten top screw on heat baffle plate for starter motor.
Unfasten bottom screw of heat baffle plate for starter motor,
remove heat baffle plate.
Unfasten connection for positive battery lead on starter motor.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 12 41 4AZ.
Impact protection for battery positive wire on floor of vehicle.
Unfasten screws.
Remove impact protector.
