Removing and installing or sealing both
throttle bodies (M73)
Follow instructions for disconnecting and connecting the
battery,
refer to General Instructions MG 12
Switch off ignition.
Turn screws through 90
°
. Remove silencer cover from manifold.
Throttle bodies for cylinder 7-12:
Remove suction hose from throttle body.
Disconnect plug-in connection (1). Unscrew bolts. Remove
bracket with positive battery terminal.
Installation:
Replace gasket.
Release hose clamp (1), withdraw hose.
Remove hose (2).
If fitted, remove faulty air valve.
Installation:
Always replace fuel hose to tank vent valve and hose clips.
