Replacing rear muffler (M52, M60, M62, M73)
Measure length (A) of pipe section on new rear muffler.
Transfer dimension (A) determined to installed rear muffler.
Cut through and deburr exhaust pipe with special tool 00 2 210.
M60, M62, M73
Remove rear muffler.
This task is described in the work step "Removing and installing
complete exhaust system",
refer to 18 00 020.
Install rubber mount for suspension to rear axle carrier on new
rear muffler.
