Important:The black intermediate cog and the adjustment lever both have a marking
(arrowed in figure) which must be aligned with one another.

Push the brass cog (3) onto the axle of
the fresh air/air recirculation adjustment
motor so that the axle and cog are both
flush with one another (align them
carefully at right angles in a vice).
