Removing and installing / sealing or replacing
lower section of timing case (M73)
Remove lower section of timing case cover,
refer to 11 14 110
Unfasten screws and remove water pump.
Installation:
Clean sealing faces and fit new gaskets.
Unfasten snap ring and remove tensioning rail (1).
Remove timing chain.
Installation:
Note installation location of chain on retaining bracket.
