Removing and installing / replacing both left
exhaust manifolds (M73)
Remove exhaust pipes,
refer to 18 31 010
Removing pipe for secondary air induction,
refer to 11 72 194
Unfasten the lower nuts in exhaust manifold (1) for
cylinders 7 to 9. Remove exhaust manifold.
Installation:
Coat thread with -CRC- copper paste.
Replace nuts.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 62 1AZ
Disconnect plug connection (1 and 2) on heating valve.
Unfasten cable tie (1) for heating hoses.
