7 Series E38 L7 (M73) SAL
Remove transmission extension.
Installation:
Install spacer disc (1).
Replace O-ring (2).
If new output flange or new bearing is installed, adjust end float,
refer to 24 13 156
Clamp special tool 24 1 220 in vise.
Fit transmission extension to the special tool.
Knock back cotter pin in grooved nut.
Installation:
Peen grooved nut to secure.
Unfasten grooved nut (1) with special tool 24 1 170.
Installation:
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 24 13 1AZ
