Correction:
Loosen striker.
Loosen nuts on hinge (1) and/or hinge (2) and turn/reposition
door.
In case of considerable deviation, correct thickness of spacer on
hinge (2).
Tighten nuts.
Position of door relative to rocker panel: Door must run parallel to
rocker panel.
Correction:
Loosen nuts on hinge (2).
Correct the quantity and/or thickness of shims.
Tighten nuts.
Check previous adjustment once again and correct if necessary.
Preset striker.
Door height (1): flush.
Door clearance (2): 0 - 1 mm
Tighten screws on striker.
Adjusting front striker:
Insert special tool (gauge) 51 2 090 in door lock.
RA Adjusting left or right front door
