Replacing control sensor (M57T2)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read out fault memory of DDE control unit; if necessary, work
through test schedules
•
Switch off ignition
•
Remove acoustic cover
•
Remove reinforcement plate
Detach air intake hose (1) towards front.
Unfasten screws (2).
Remove cover (3) in direction of arrow.
Warning!
Scalding hazard!
Only perform this task on an engine that has cooled down.
Unlock plug connection (1) and pull out of guide.
Unlock connector and remove.
Unclip cable.
Release oxygen sensor (2).
Installation:
Tightening torque 11 78 1AZ
