Removing and installing/replacing auxiliary
fan (M57TU, M57T2)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read out fault memory of DDE control unit; if necessary, work
through test schedules
•
Switch off ignition
Disconnect connector (1).
Detach cable from bracket (2).
Release screws (3).
Remove cover (4).
Lay Bowden cable (6) to one side.
Remove cover (5).
Remove fan (1) in direction of arrow.
Read fault memory.
