Installation:
Ensure flush mounting between seal and housing.
To facilitate installation, use silicone spray (refer to BMW Parts
Service) as antiseize agent.
Important!
After installing Bowden cables.

Vehicle at standstill.
-
Ignition turned on.
-
Touch parking brake button three times at intervals of
5 seconds.
-
Carry out brake test on brake analyzer.
•
Drive car with rear axle only onto dynamic brake
analyzer.
•
Engine off.
•
Touch parking brake button and ensure uniform
increase.
RA Removing and installing or replacing both Bowden cables for parking brake
