Replacing complete tail panel
Read contents of Body, General.
Spot-weld bonding is used for the first time on the E65. A
specific procedure must be followed here.
Following new body parts are required (refer to EPC):
-
(1) Rear trim, complete
-
(2) End panel, rear lights base, left and right
Open weld joints in area (1).
Open brazed joints in areas (2).
Open weld joints in areas (1) on inside of luggage compartment
on left and right.
Remove plate (2) and tail panel.
