Replacing control unit for rear compartment
monitor
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove rear compartment fresh air grill.
•
Remove side panels on center console.
Caution!
The fully installed rear compartment monitor can only be
swiveled up and down with the ignition turned on. Then turn
off ignition again immediately.
Swiveling rear compartment monitor up/down without ignition
voltage, refer to Removing rear compartment monitor.
Note:
Follow instructions for handling optical fibers.
Fold up rear compartment monitor (1).
Release screws (2) and remove trim in center console at
rear (3) in direction of arrow.
