7 Series E65 740d (M67) SAL
Detach intake manifold (1) from turbocharger and lay to one side.
Note:
Refrigerant lines of A/C compressor remain connected.
Release screws (2) on A/C compressor.
Set down A/C compressor towards bottom.
Disconnect electric lead from compressor.
Unscrew nut (1).
Remove grounding cable (2).
Release nut on engine mount (3).
Detach vacuum hose (4) from distributor.

refer to 17 00 ...
Open lock (1).
Detach water hose (2).
Open lock (3).
Detach water hose (4).
Tie wiring harness (5) of automatic transmission to turbocharger
on right.
Secure battery positive lead behind flywheel.
Caution!
Engine must not tilt backwards!
Attach lifting crane (3) to special tool 11 00 020 at central
fixture (1).
Raise lifting crane (3) until strain is removed from special
tool 11 0 200.
Release combination (2) and remove special tool 11 0 200.
