7 Series E65 740d (M67) SAL
Remove intake manifold (1) in direction of arrow.
Caution!
-
Do not bend refrigerant lines of A/C compressor during
removal.

Frame braces on left and right must be protected with a
cloth against scratches on A/C compressor and engine
mounts.

Carefully lift engine out of car.
Installation:
To vent high-pressure pump:
1.
Detach feed line on H.P. pump.
2.
Switch on ignition.
3.
Wait for bubble-free fuel to emerge.
4.
Switch off ignition.
5.
Fit feed line with a new clamp.
Vent cooling system and check for leaks,
refer to 17 00 039.
Check/top up fluid level in automatic transmission,
refer to 00 11 500.
