Replacing both camshafts on left (M67)
Note:
Remove underbody panelling at front and rear.
Instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery,
refer to General Information MG12.
Disconnect battery negative terminal.
Remove left cylinder head cover.
Caution!
If the charge air hoses are not fitted dry and without grease, this
will result in supercharger failure.
Fit charge air hoses dry and without grease.
Fuel system must be vented after work between tank and H.P.
pump.
Removal:
Removal of camshafts is described separately from installation.
Assembly sequence for removal and installation is different.
