7 Series E65 740d (M67) SAL
Remove special tool 11 2 300.
Using special tool 11 6 480, crank engine at vibration damper in
direction of rotation through 720
°
.
Reinsert special tool 11 2 300.
Attach special tool 11 8 120 to both camshafts.
Tighten screw (1).
Note:
Special tool 11 8 120 must rest flush on cylinder head.
Caution!
If special tool 11 8 120 does not rest flush on the cylinder head,
you must repeat the adjustment operations.
Assemble car in reverse sequence to its disassembly.
