Using special tool 11 6 480, crank engine at vibration damper in
direction of rotation through 720
°
.
Reinsert special tool 11 2 300.
Attach special tool 11 8 121/122 to both camshafts.
Tighten screw (1).
Note:
Special tool 11 8 121/122 must rest flush on cylinder head.
Caution!
If special tool 11 8 121/122 does not rest flush on the cylinder
head, you must repeat the adjustment operations.
Assemble car in reverse sequence to its disassembly.
Vent cooling system and check for leaks,
refer to 17 00 039.
