Catch and dispose of drained coolant.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Caution!
Remove lowest screw (1) fully only at end.
Release screws on alternator.
Remove lowest screw (1) half-way.
Lay retaining plate (2) to one side.
Pull out alternator (3) a little and allow coolant to drain off.
Remove lowest screw (1) fully.
Remove alternator (3).
Installation:
Replace sealing ring (1).
