Replacing fuel measuring unit (M67, M67TU)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read fault memory of DDE control unit

Switch off ignition

Remove fan cowl

Important!

It is essential to adhere to conditions of absolute cleanliness
when working on the fuel system.

Do not allow any dirt particles or foreign bodies to get into the

system

Use only fluff-free cloths

Remove all traces of dirt before removing pipes or individual

components

Note:

The high-pressure pump does not have to be removed when the
fuel measuring unit is replaced.

Illustration shows high-pressure pump removed:

Unfasten screws.

Remove fuel measuring unit (1).

Note:

Check stored fault messages.

Now clear the fault memory.
