Replacing both DDE control units (M67,
M67TU)

Note:

Follow instructions for removing and installing electronic
control units.

Observe instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

•

Read out fault memories of DDE control units.

•

Switch off ignition.

•

Disconnect battery negative lead and cover.

•

Remove right fresh air duct.

Release screw and remove holder (1).

Release screws and remove cover (2) from control unit box.

Note:

Release screws on seal (3) only when removing wiring harness.

Note:

DDE main control unit (master 1)

- 

DDE secondary control unit (slave 4)

Pull out DDE main control unit (1), unlock plug (2) and
disconnect.

Pull out DDE secondary control unit (4), unlock plug (3) and
disconnect.

Installation:

Program DDE control unit.
