Removing and installing function carrier (with
roller sun blind) on left or right rear door
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove door trim panel
Version with roller sun blind only:
•
Remove roller sun blind of fixed side window
•
Remove guide rail for roller sun blind
Important!
Risk of mixing up plugs for door lock and control unit!
Mark relevant plugs prior to removal.
Release screws (1).
Disconnect plug connections (2).
Feed out door wiring harness (kink-free) through wiring harness
opening (3).
Disconnect Bowden cable (4).
Version with roller sun blind only:
Unfasten screws (5 and 6).
Release quick-release couplings.
Remove function carrier.
Installation:
If necessary, replace defective quick-release couplings.
Make sure quick-release couplings are installed in correct
position.

Quick-release coupling grey 1.8 mm

Quick-release coupling white 0.8 mm
