2.1 Workshops equipped with a HUNTER wheel balancing machine (e. g. HUNTER GSP
9700) must determine/measure the fluctuations in radial forces in the wheels with this
machine.

To check the fluctuations in radial forces, the air pressure in the wheels must be
set to 2.0 bar.

Measure the radial force fluctuation in the wheels.

If the radial force fluctuation is greater than 80 N, optimise the wheel by
matching (as described in the operating instructions of the HUNTER machine).
The limit value stated (80 N) is valid for the measured value "Radial 1st
harmonic".

If the fluctuations in radial forces cannot be reduced to less than 80 N by
matching, the tyre must be replaced.

Balance the wheel as described in the Repair Instructions.
2.2 Refit all parts that have been removed and perform an assessment by means of a test
drive.
Note:
If the complaint could not be eliminated, please consult the technical department of
your subsidiary or importer.
