Removing and installing/replacing fuel filler
pipe
Important!
After installing fuel filler pipe, check electrical resistance
between metal filler bowl and wheel hub.
Measured value approx. 0.6
Ω
.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Draw off fuel from fuel tank.
•
Remove rear right wheel.
•
Remove rear right wheel arch trim.
•
Observe safety instructions on raising the vehicle.
Release plastic nuts (1).
Installation:
Tightening torque 16 12 11AZ
.
Unfasten hose clip (1).
Withdraw fuel filler pipe from connecting hose.
Installation:
Replace hose clip.
Tightening torque 16 12 10AZ
.
Seal nut with underseal again.
