7 Series E65 740i (N62TU) SAL
Secure door opening at welding spot flanges with support strut (1) (refer to Workshop Equipment & Planning CD,
Chapter 7).
Mark severance cut on outer wheel arch in accordance with measurement a and cut.
Measurement a = approx. 200 mm from roof edge.
Installation:
On severance cuts, install reinforcing plate approx. 30 mm long.
Mark severance cut (2) in accordance with new part, add 20 mm to rear for overlap and cut.
Open weld joints in area (3).
Open weld joints in area (1).
Remove luggage compartment floor support (2).
RA Replacing complete rear left wheel arch (rear left side panel removed)
