7 Series E65 740i (N62TU) SAL
Detach retainers (1) on rear seat backrest (2).
Turn back backrest cover (3) in direction of arrow slightly.
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screws (2).
Note:
Spacer washers are fitted under screw holes of drive for backrest
tilt adjustment (3).
Carefully feed out drive for backrest tilt adjustment (3) in direction
of arrow and remove.
Installation:
Make sure spacer washers (1) are correctly seated.
If necessary, fix spacer washers (1) in place on metal tabs (2) of
drive for backrest tilt adjustment (3).
Replacement:
Initialize drive unit for backrest angle adjustment.
