Removing and installing, sealing or replacing
oil sump (M67TU)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove centre of front wall.
•
Remove fan clutch with fan.
•
Remove fan with fan cowl.
•
Remove ribbed V-belt for alternator.
•
Remove engine splash guard.
•
Drain engine oil.
•
Remove both diesel particulate filters.
•
Disconnect automatic transmission fluid lines.
•
Detach power steering pump from oil sump.
•
Detach ground strap from oil sump.
•
Secure engine in installation position.
Unfasten screws (2).
Installation:
Replace sheet-metal gasket.
Release hose clip (1).
Remove return pipe (3).
Unfasten screws (2).
Installation:
Replace sheet-metal gasket.
Release hose clip (1).
Remove return pipe (3).
