Removing and installing/replacing battery
positive lead (between starter motor,
alternator and battery positive support point)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read out fault memories of both DDE control units.
•
Switch off ignition
•
Follow instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery
Disconnect battery negative lead and cover
•
Remove fan cowl
•
Remove intake air manifold
•
Remove starter motor
•
Remove automatic transmission
Release nut and disconnect battery positive lead (1).
Unfasten nut.
Remove battery positive lead (1) from battery positive terminal.
Unclip battery positive lead (1) and remove.
Installation:
Pay attention to routing of battery positive lead.
