7 Series E65 745d (M67TU) SAL
Expose A-pillar sensor.
Disconnect plug connection (1) from sensor (4) and connect
adapter lead 62 1 351 .
Connecting adapter lead to B-pillar sensor, left and right:
Expose B-pillar sensor.
Move sensor (2) in B-pillar downwards.
Disconnect plug connection (1) from B-pillar sensor (2) and
connect adapter lead 62 1 351 .
Connecting adapter lead to rear-seat sensor:
Expose rear-seat sensor.
Disconnect plug connections (2) from sensor (3) and connect
adapter lead 62 1 352 .
Airbag firing:
•
Do not conduct firing simultaneously but rather in a staggered
•
To trigger the airbags, connect adapter leads 62 1 351 and
•
Connect firing device 62 1 270 to a 12 V power source.
•
Press switch on firing device to fire airbags.
•
In event of no firing: refer to "Notes on scrapping BMW vehicles (Firing failure section).
