Removing and installing intake air manifold
(M54)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery.
•
Disconnect negative battery lead.
•
Remove engine cover.
•
Remove center equipment wall bulkhead.
Important!
Do not mix up plug connections of oxygen monitor sensors.
Mark plug connections.
Unclip plug connections (1) from holders.
Press lock and detach vent hose from cylinder head cover.
Detach retainer (1).
Disconnect plug connection (2) for intake air temperature sensor.
Detach connector strip (3) and place to one side.
