Removing and installing / replacing
decorative trims (all) on function carrier
Special tools required:

00 9 318
Important!
When removing side decorative trims (1) or decorative
trim (2) for audio system controller:
Do not under any circumstances place a tool on the dotted
lines as this would destroy the decorative trim.
Side decorative trims:
Important!
Remove lower storage tray before removing side decorative
trims (risk of damage).
Fit protective cover (4) to prevent scratching.
Remove lower storage tray (drawer) from function carrier.
Using special tool 00 9 318 (universal wedge), lever out
catches (1) and remove decorative trim (2).
Detach decorative trim (3) in same way.
Installation:
If necessary, replace faulty clips (1) on left/right.
Catches (2) of decorative trim (3) must not be damaged.
