Straightening angle set and portal fixtures

E66

Situation: 

The task of straightening the vehicle body in line with technical requirements necessitates
the use of a straightening angle set, portal fixtures and vehicle data sheets. However, a
distinction must be made between the straightening angle manufacturers CELETTE, CAR
BENCH and CAR-O-LINER.

CELETTE

The basic straightening angle set for the E65 is used to straighten the body of the E66. In
addition, 6 spacer disks (CDT.040) are also required for the rear-axle and impact damper
mounts. These are already included in the basic straightening angle set for the E65.

The door-pillar portal fixtures for the E65 can also be used for the E66.

CARBENCH

The basic straightening angle set for the E65 is used to straighten the body of the E66. In
addition, 4 straightening angle fixtures (A7233300) are also required for the rear-axle
mounts.

The door-pillar portal fixtures for the E65 can also be used for the E66. In addition, 4 spacer
disks (A7233300/T) are also required for the C-pillar portal fixtures.

The universal straightening angle set is recommended as a further alternative for body
repairs with the Car Bench straightening angle system. The only other requirement for
carrying out repairs is the vehicle-specific Assembly Plan A4233300.

CAR-O-LINER

For repair of the E66's underbody, use Data Sheet 2:047.

For repair of the E66's bodywork, use Data Sheet 602:031.

Procedure:

The straightening angle sets will be stocked as store tools and will only be delivered to
order.
