Removing and installing/replacing left or right
rear seat
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove flap in luggage compartment panel
•
Remove rear head restraint
•
Remove padding for rear seat completely
•
Remove rear entrance cover strip
•
Remove supplementary trim on C-pillar at bottom
•
Remove rear armrest trim
Release screw (1) for seat belt, centre.
Tightening torque 72 11 22AZ
.
Remove cover (1) upwards out of guide (2).
Detach cover (1) from Velcro-type fastener (5), pull out of
guide (4) and lift out completely.
Release screws (3).
Insert nuts with Loctite, tightening torque 52 25 01AZ
.
Note:
Backrest is secured with three nuts to body (nut at top/outside is
not present).
Remove cover (1) towards front.
Unfasten screws (2).
Tightening torque 52 25 02AZ
.
Disconnect all plug connections and feed out wiring harnesses.
