Drill new part in areas (1) for plug welding.
Clean all connecting points to be welded and soldered on new part and body and coat with welding primer.
Remove all traces of adhesive and sealing compound from roof frame and roof cross-member and clean.
Apply window glass adhesive (1) (sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service).
Apply adhesive (2) (sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service).
RA Replacing roof outer skin (version with slide/tilt sunroof)
