Replacing wiring harness at rear
Remove luggage compartment floor trim panel.
Remove flaps in luggage compartment trim on left and right.
If necessary, remove navigation computer with CD drive.
If necessary, remove receiver module of Global Positioning
System (GPS).
If necessary, remove CD changer.
If necessary, remove transmit-receive unit.
If necessary, remove basic carrier for navigation computer, CD
changer etc.
Remove luggage compartment wheel arch trim on left.
Remove trim for tail panel at top.
Remove spare wheel (refer to Owner's Manual).
Disconnect battery negative lead.
Remove holder for shims.
Remove cover for loading edge (on tailgate).
Remove insert for panel on tailgate.
Remove panel for tailgate.
Caution!
Vehicles with tire pressure control (RDC):
Unwind operational RDC lead from wiring harness.
Replace faulty RDC lead separately (refer to Electronic Parts
Catalog).
Remove wiring harness cover, tail panel.
If necessary, disconnect hi-fi wiring harness from main wiring
harness (1).
Cut through main wiring harness (1) as illustrated.
Detach main wiring harness from luggage compartment and
remove.
