Situation:
In series production, the supplier of the belt tensioner has been changed. The individual
parts of the belt, upper belt and lower belt, of the two manufacturers are not to be
combined!
Effect:
Due to the different widths of the belt tongue, the belt does not fit into the catch, or may
cause rattling noises if different types of belt are combined.

The change of supplier, from Autoliv to TRW, was completed in production on 2nd October
2000, starting with vehicle identification number LH60807.
Action:
Only install new parts with the same part number (of the same version) as the part being
replaced.
