Replacing tank venting valve (M52TU, M54)
Turn off ignition.
Location:
Tank venting valve (2) is fitted at front below intake air
manifold (1).
Z3, E39 and E46:
Remove intake filter housing.
E53/M54 only:
Remove intake hose.
Z3, E39, E46 and E53:
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release vent hose (2). To do so, press locking bar and detach
vent hose.
Detach hose (1) from tank venting valve (2).
Note:
Illustration shows removed supply tank for power steering.
