X Series E53 X5 3.0i (M54) OFFRD
Measure length (B) of pipe sections on new intermediate muffler.
Transfer determined distance (B) to new installed intermediate
muffler.
Cut through and deburr both exhaust pipes at determined point
between catalytic converter and intermediate muffler with special
tool 00 2 210 .
Release screws (1) on rubber mounts and remove intermediate
muffler.
Detach rubber mounts from old intermediate muffler and push
onto bracket of new intermediate muffler.
