X Series E53 X5 3.0i (M54) OFFRD
Clip cover (1) out of retainers (2).
Press cover (1) downwards.
Release screws (2) on rubber mount for rear muffler on left and
right.
Detach rubber mount (1) from holder (2).
Release screws (1) on rubber mount for rear muffler on rear axle
carrier on left and right.
Detach rubber mount from holder.
Replace rubber mounts on rear muffler.
Note:
Rubber mount for rear muffler on rear axle carrier is red.
Mixing up the rubber mounts will alter the vibration response of the
exhaust system.
