Replacing sleeve for steering spindle (vehicle
interior)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove lower section of steering spindle
•
Remove footwell side trim panel on A-pillar
After installation:
•
Carry out steering angle sensor adjustment
Press carpet to one side and secure.
Remove sleeve from bulkhead.
Installation:
Grease/spray sleeve from outside with silicone grease.
Align sleeve depending on version (LHD/RHD) to bulkhead and
insert in bulkhead.
Left-hand drive Arrow (2) with LHD lettering on sleeve must be
aligned with arrow (1) on bulkhead.
Right-hand driveArrow (2) with RHD lettering on sleeve must be
aligned with arrow (1) in bulkhead.
Insert plastic ring (3) in sleeve.
