X Series E53 X5 3.0i (M54) OFFRD
Vehicles with manual transmissions:
Remove clutch switch.
Remove retainer (1) and press out retaining pin.
Caution!
Do not detach pressure line from master cylinder.
Release screws (2) and set clutch master cylinder down in
footwell.
Raise lug of retainer (1) and detach retainer. Pull out retaining pin.
Disconnect plug from brake light switch.
Caution!
After installation: Adjust brake light switch.
Release screws (2) and remove mounting block.
Installation:
Replace self-locking nuts.
Tightening torque 35 11 1AZ
