X Series E53 X5 3.0i (M54) OFFRD
Disconnect plug connection.
Press pipe connection into distributor and pull out pipe.
Remove plug housing with distributor from mounting bracket.
Important!
Risk of damage!
Do not kink, twist or crush pipes.
Release screw (1).
Expose wiring harness with pipes up to air supply unit.
Unfasten screws (2).
Remove air supply unit (3) with wiring harness and pipes.
After installation:

Activating and filling air spring system:

Insert fuse in corresponding slot in fuse box

Connect BMW diagnosis system
-
Switch ignition on.

Fill pressure accumulator using the BMW diagnosis
system (control unit functions -> component activation:
activate menu item "Fill pressure accumulator" once)

Set vehicle down on its wheels
