Replacing left or right cowl panel (partial
replacement in front of roof connection)

Instructions for body repair,

Instructions for handling airbag modules.

Remove and, if necessary, replace following parts:

- 

Front lid

- 

Windshield

- 

Front side panel

- 

ITS head airbag, left

- 

Front seat

- 

A-pillar finisher

Remove or cover up vehicle components in the repair zone which
are at risk from heat, flying sparks and dust.

Caution!

For the following severance cuts, cut through the outer metal
only.

Mark and cut cutting lines on outer cowl in accordance with
measurements A and B.

Measurement (a) = approx. 100 mm from roof edge.

Measurement (b) = approx. 450 mm length of new part.

Open welding spots in areas (1) and remove cowl.
