Tighten down retaining screws of head airbag casing in rear
compartment.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 72 12 17AZ.
View after screw connection of head airbag casing:
Retaining strap on anchor fitting of ITS head airbag (1) is
underneath retaining ribs (2) of head airbag casing.
Tighten down screws on head airbag gas generator in rear
compartment at roof cross-member.
Installation:
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 72 12 18AZ.
Reconnect plug connection for head airbag gas generator in rear
compartment.
Locking plug connection,
refer to 72 12 ... Unlocking/locking airbag plug connections.
