Assemble cross member 00 0 200 with special tools 00 0 202 ,
00 0 204 , 00 0 208 .
Modification:
Replace profile strips with special tools 00 0 451 .
Replace front supports with special tools 00 0 452 .
Note:
Ensure that the longer feet of special tools 00 0 452 point to
the middle of the vehicle.
Note:
The support points on the left side are shown.
Position transverse member 00 0 200 with a 2nd person
helping on designated areas (1, 2).
Note:
Make sure that the front supports 00 0 452 are correctly
positioned on the support carriers.
Important!
Avoid a change of engine position in the transverse or
longitudinal direction.
Always make sure there is sufficient clearance between the
engine (or its attachment parts) and the body.
Align transverse member so that spindle 00 0 202 is correctly
positioned over suspension eye.
Secure suitable chain to spindle 00 0 202 and suspend from
suspension eye.
