Removing and installing / replacing
decorative strip on front left or right door
Special tools required:
•
00 9 323
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Open front side window
•
Remove seal for door seam/roof frame
•
Remove rear-view mirror on front door
Note:
Using special tool 00 9 323 , start removing decorative strip (1)
at front (A) and disengage at rear (B).
Pull off decorative strip (1) in direction of arrow from
retainers (2).
Installation:
If necessary, replace faulty retainers (1 and 2) on decorative
strip (3).
Make sure retainers are installed in correct positions.
